News Update on the Formation and Registration Agriculture Company “Volga Baikal AGRO LLC.”
Volga Baikal AGRO LLC., the Russian-Swiss Joint Venture is proud to announce that it had submitted documents for legal registration of the Company at the end of 2018, and its successful registration of the Company in the Russian Register.
Martin Leu, Entrepreneur, Founder and President of Leu AGRO Group Switzerland, together with the Russian Team of Volga Baikal AGRO LLC. under the leadership of Mr. Zorigto Sakhanov (Head of Administrative Affairs), Dangina Sakhanova (Head of the Lawyer Department) and Alexander Gorelov (Company CFO / Head Financial Planning) have been meeting in Moscow and signed all necessary Documents and Founding Papers.
After the registration process was finalized the first Official Company Meeting was held in Moscow. Discussion about possible Agriculture Projects and their prospects for attracting investments. The Company, Volga Baikal AGRO LLC., announces the following Board of Directors lead by Martin Leu, supported by Mr. Zorigto Sakhanov, Mr. Sture Gustavsson, Dangina Sakhanova and Alexander Gorelov.
By decision of the Founders and Board of Directors, Dangina Sakhanova was appointed Director General of Volga Baikal AGRO LLC.
The strategy of the project “Volga Baikal AGRO” is to provide for the creation of advanced agricultural enterprises in the Volga Federal District and the Central Black Soil Region of Russia. As part of the project, it is planned to assemble and consolidate up to 300,000 hectares of Arable Land for Agriculture Production. The total volume of attracted investments will exceed 550 million Swiss Francs (more than 38 billion rubles at the current exchange rate) what will be needed to develop the Dry Land and Irrigation Farming Project’s as well in a second phase the development of Beef Production Enterprises.
The Owners and Board of Directors are supported by the Operational Team from Leu AGRO Group Switzerland and Volga Baikal AGRO LLC., witch include well-known international agriculture industry managers Martin Leu, Sture Gustavsson, Vladimir Diveev, Robert Nilsson, Thomas Lange and Roman Huerlimann. This highly qualified Agriculture Team brings extensive experience in development, organization and has successfully managed agricultural projects in Russia, Western Canada, the United States of America and European Union Countries.

В пятницу (21) с моим другом и коллегой Мартином Лой, основателем и президентом Leu AGRO Group Switzerland, обсудили перспективы привлечения инвестиций, финансовые модели потенциальных стартовых проектов, подали документы для юридической регистрации российско-швейцарского совместного предприятия ООО “Волга Байкал АГРО”.
Стратегия проекта “Волга Байкал АГРО” предусматривает создание передовых сельскохозяйственных предприятий в регионах Поволжья и Черноземья. В рамках проекта планируется консолидировать до 300,000 га посеных площадей. Суммарный объем привлекаемых инвестиций превысит 550 млн швейцарских франков (свыше 38 млрд рублей по текущему курсу).
В Совет директоров и операционную команду ООО “Волга Байкал АГРО” войдут известные международные отраслевые управленцы Мартин Лой, Стуре Густавссон, Владимир Дивеев, Роберт Нилссен и Томас Ланге, располагающие большим опытом организации и успешного управления сельскохозяйственными проектами в России, Западной Канаде, Соединенных Штатах Америки и странах Европейского Союза. Решением учредителей Генеральным директором ООО “Волга Байкал АГРО” назначена Дангина Саханова.
