Volga Baikal AGRO NEWS Update on Harvesting Campaign 2020 on October 1, 123.6 million tons of Grain Harvested !!!
According to the “Center of Agroanalytics” with reference to the operational data of departmental monitoring of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, as of October 1, 2020, grain and leguminous crops were threshed from an area of 43 107.5 thousand hectares (89.8% of the harvested area, in 2019 – 41 109 , 9 thousand ha). 123,570.4 thousand tons of grain were threshed (in 2019 – 110,590.8 thousand tons) with a yield of 28.7 c / ha (26.9 c / ha in 2019). Of these, winter and spring wheat was threshed from an area of 28 147.3 thousand hectares, 85 759.5 thousand tons (+11 205.7 thousand tons to last year) of grain were threshed, with a yield of 30.5 c / ha.
In the Central Federal District, grain and leguminous crops were threshed from an area of 7,661.7 thousand hectares (88.1% of the harvested area), 34,243.3 thousand tons of grain were threshed (in 2019 – 27801.5 thousand tons) with yield 44.7 c / ha.
In the Northwestern Federal District, grain and leguminous crops were threshed from an area of 285.3 thousand hectares (86.5% of the harvested area), 1 054 thousand tons of grain were threshed with a yield of 36.9 c / ha.
In the Southern Federal District, grain and leguminous crops were threshed from an area of 8,750.3 thousand hectares (94.8% of the harvested area), 30,839.5 thousand tons of grain were threshed with a yield of 35.2 centners / ha.
In the North Caucasian Federal District, grain and leguminous crops were threshed from an area of 2,567.4 thousand hectares (80.6% of the harvested area), 7,111.2 thousand tons of grain were threshed with a yield of 27.7 c / ha.
In the Volga Federal District, grain and leguminous crops were threshed from an area of 12 695 thousand hectares (94.5% of the harvested area), 31 886.3 thousand tons were threshed (in 2019 – 21 469.3 thousand tons) with a yield of 25 , 1 centner / ha.
In the Ural Federal District, grain and leguminous crops were threshed from an area of 3,060.2 thousand hectares (85.6% of the harvested area), 4,410.8 thousand tons of grain were threshed (in 2019, 4 671.7 thousand tons) with yield 14.4 c / ha
In the Siberian Federal District, grain and leguminous crops were threshed from an area of 7,821.6 thousand hectares (86.9% of the harvested area), 13,489 thousand tons of grain were threshed (in 2019 – 13,536.2 thousand tons) with a yield 17.2 c / ha.
In the Far Eastern Federal District, grain and leguminous crops were threshed from an area of 265.9 thousand hectares (50.6% of the harvested area), 536.4 thousand tons of grain were threshed with a yield of 20.2 centners / ha.
Winter and spring barley was threshed from an area of 8,038.7 thousand hectares, 21,708.3 thousand tons were threshed (+ 1,015.7 thousand tons compared to last year), with a yield of 27 c / ha.
Corn was threshed from an area of 843.2 thousand hectares, 3 871.4 thousand tons were threshed with a yield of 45.9 c / ha.
Rice was threshed from an area of 95.2 thousand hectares, 611.2 thousand tons were threshed with a yield of 64.2 c / ha.
Buckwheat was threshed from an area of 566.7 thousand hectares, 597.9 thousand tons were threshed with a yield of 10.6 c / ha.
