Volga Baikal AGRO NEWS Update on the Export Situation in Russia !!!

The Federal Center “Agroexport” of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation informs that from January 01 up to November 29, 2020, Russia supplied 2.9 million tons of agricultural products to Saudi Arabia in the amount of $ 637 million and 2 times in value.

Saudi Arabia is the largest buyer of Russian barley. For 11 incomplete months, its shipments increased up to 2 million tons worth $ 484 million – 2.3 times more than the same period of the last year.

In addition to say, in April 2020, Russia began deliveries to the kingdom the wheat: as of November 29, 2020 – 180.5 thousand tons of wheat worth $ 39.3 million were sold.

Aa a summary of the last year, Russia was the largest supplier of sunflower oil to Saudi Arabia and it was in the top 3 of suppliers of barley and chocolate, in the top 5 – of poultry.
