Volga Baikal AGRO NEWS Update on the SHIPMENTS of AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY in RUSSIA !!!
THE VOLUME OF SHIPMENTS OF DOMESTIC AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY IN RUSSIA INCREASED BY 47% IN 2022.
In the 1st quarter of 2022, the Russian manufacturers of agricultural machinery increased shipments of their products to the Russian domestic market by 47% – up to a record 55.7 billion rubles compared to the same period of the last year. In January – March 2022, the production of domestic agricultural machinery increased by 12% – up to 65.2 billion rubles.
The main reason for the growth in the supply of domestic agricultural machinery is still the consistently high prices for agricultural products in the domestic market, thanks to which farmers can invest additional funds in the modernization of agricultural production.
The main mechanism of state support for domestic agricultural engineering is the provision of subsidies to manufacturers of agricultural machinery as part of the implementation of Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated December 27, 2012 No. 1432.
According to the Rosspetsmash Association, the production of:

sprayers in the 1-st quarter of 2022 increased by 51% – up to 608 units,
-
harrows – by 24% – up to 2219 units,
-
plows – by 14% – up to 917 units,
-
agricultural tractors – by 8% – up to 1447 pcs.,
-
seeders – by 2% – up to 1955 pcs.
At the same time, the production of grain harvesters decreased by 16% to 1877 units.
Already in April, the Rosspetsmash Association recorded a slowdown in the growth rate of production and shipments of agricultural machinery and did not expect record levels in 2022.
Since March 2022, growth in agricultural machinery production has been constrained by the restructuring of supply chains, the search for new partners (manufacturers and suppliers of components), from 2021 – high metal prices, high interest rates on loans.
