FORECAST of TEMPERATURE & PRECIPITATION in RUSSIA for MAY – JUNE 2021 (period of vegetation)
TEMPERATURE: MAY 2021
Above normal, the average monthly temperature is expected in the east of the North-Western Federal District, in most of the Central Federal District, in the north of the Volga, Ural and Siberian Federal Districts, in the Chukotka Autonomous District.
PRECIPITATION: MAY 2021
Precipitation deficit is most likely in the Republic of Komi, in the south of the Volga Federal District, in most regions of the south of the Siberian Federal District, in the south of the Khabarovsk Territory.
Monthly precipitation is expected to exceed the norm in most of Yakutia.
Significantly less than last year, the amount of precipitation is expected in most of the Central and Volga Federal Districts, in the east of the Southern Federal District, in the south of the Irkutsk Region and the Republic of Buryatia.
TEMPERATURE: JUNE 2021
Above the norm, the average monthly temperature is expected in the north-east of the Ural Federal District, in the north of the Siberian Federal District, in the west and in the center of Yakutia.

Precipitation deficit is most likely in the North Caucasus Federal District, in the north-east of the Ural Federal District, in the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Excess precipitation is expected in the south-west of the Siberian Federal District, in the Trans-Baikal and Primorsky Territories.
Lower than in June 2020, the average air temperature is expected in the north-east of Yakutia. Less than last year, the amount of precipitation is expected in the north-east of the Ural Federal District, in the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
