About 80% of winter grain crops are in good condition.
This information was announced at a meeting of the government of the Russian Federation by the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev. “In general, today the situation for the sowing season is stable. Let me remind you that 19.4 million hectares have been sown with winter crops, and now about 80% of the crops are in good and satisfactory condition. This is slightly lower than the level of last year – the lack of precipitation in the fall of last year had a certain effect, but we note a gradual improvement in the condition of the crops,” – said Dmitry Patrushev.
