Russian Farmers Harvested 91.4 % of the Area and 125.2 millions ton of Grain !!!
According to the operational data of the governing bodies of the agro-industrial complex of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, as of October 5, 2020, grain and leguminous crops were threshed from an area of 43.9 million hectares or 91.4% of the sown area, 125.2 million tons of grain were threshed with a yield of 28.6 centners / ha.
Of these, wheat was threshed from an area of 28.5 million hectares or 96.7% of the sown area, 86.4 million tons of grain were threshed with a yield of 30.3 c / ha. Barley was threshed from an area of 8.1 million hectares, or 94.9% of the sown area, 21.8 million tons were threshed with a yield of 26.9 c / ha. Corn for grain was threshed from an area of 984 thousand hectares, or 34.3% of the sown area, 4.6 million tons were threshed with a yield of 47.2 kg / ha. Rice was threshed from an area of 104.8 thousand hectares or 53.4% of the sown area, 666.7 thousand tons were threshed with a yield of 63.6 c / ha.
Sugar beets were dug out from an area of 466.6 thousand hectares or 50.3% of the sown area, 16.7 million tons were dug up with a yield of 358.4 c / ha.
Fiber flax was harvested from an area of 44.9 thousand hectares or 84.5% of the sown area.
Sunflower was threshed from an area of 4.6 million hectares, or 53.8% of the sown area, 7.6 million tons were threshed with a yield of 16.7 centners / ha.
Rape was threshed from an area of 1.3 million hectares, or 86.3% of the sown area, 2.5 million tons were threshed with a yield of 19.4 c / ha.
Soybeans were threshed from an area of 1.4 million hectares, or 49.8% of the sown area, 2.6 million tons were threshed with a yield of 18.8 centners / ha.
Potatoes in agricultural enterprises and peasant (farm) farms were harvested from an area of 209.6 thousand hectares or 74.6% of the sown area, 5 million tons were dug up with a yield of 239.9 centners / ha.
Vegetables in agricultural enterprises and peasant (farm) farms have been harvested from an area of 106.9 thousand hectares or 56.7% of the sown area, 3 million tons were harvested with a yield of 276.6 c / ha.
Sowing of winter crops was carried out on an area of 13.4 million hectares or 69.7% of the forecasted area. In addition, winter rape was sown on an area of 244.2 thousand hectares, winter camelina – on an area of 7 thousand hectares.
