Volga Baikal AGRO News Update on the Russian Agriculture Seasonal Field Work Progress !!!

According to the operational data of the governing bodies of the agro-industrial complex of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, as of November 08, 2021, grain and leguminous crops are threshed from the area of 44.9 million hectares, 123.3 million tons of grain are harvested.
Wheat is harvested from the area of 27.8 million hectares, 78.1 million tons of grain are threshed. Barley is threshed from the area of 7.9 million hectares, 18.8 million tons are threshed. Corn for grain is threshed from the area of 2.5 million hectares (2.4 hectares – in 2020), 13,7 million tons are threshed. Rice is threshed from the area of 178.1 thousand hectares, 1,1 million tons are harvested.
Sugar beet is dug out from the area of 966.9 thousand hectares, 39 million tons are dug up.
Fiber flax is harvested from the area of 36,4 thousand hectares.
Sunflower is threshed from the area of 9.5 million hectares, 15.2 million tons are harvested.
Rapeseeds are threshed from the area of 1.6 million hectares, 3 million tons are harvested.
Soybeans are threshed from the area of 2.9 million hectares, 4,8 million tons are threshed.
Potatoes in agricultural enterprises and peasant (private) farms have been harvested from the area of 271.2 thousand hectares, 6.6 million tons have been dug up.
Vegetables in agricultural enterprises and peasant (private) farms have been harvested from the area of 168.9 thousand hectares, 4,8 million tons have been harvested.
Sowing of winter crops was carried out on an area of 18.2 million hectares.
