The Ministry of Agriculture also reported that, according to operational data, 43.6 million tons of grain crops were exported in the current agricultural year, which is 17.5% higher than in the same period last season (37.1 million tons). Including the volume of wheat supplies increased by 14.5% and amounted to 34.7 million tons (+ 14.5%).
According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, grain exports in the 2019-2020 agricultural year amounted to 41.7 million tons, including 33.2 million tons of wheat. According to the forecast of the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Victoria Abramchenko, grain exports in the current agricultural year may amount to about 50 million tons. The Ministry of Agriculture estimates grain exports in the current agricultural year at 45 million tons, of which 35 million tons will be wheat.
